What a lovely stay! The cozy, well-furnished room was a delight, and the shower pressure was fantastic! Only downside was some slight noise from the outside, but would definitely return.

The Green Room was a standout with a super king size bed and a lounge area, with a good mix of character with its low beamed ceilings and quirky features like Australian taps. Breakfast was notably fresh with local ingredients, and the decor's attention to detail added a charming touch.
Getting in and out of the parking area was sometimes a hassle due to the busy road, though traffic noise wasn't an issue inside. The quirky layout of the cottage, like sloping floors and unusual room configurations, could be disorienting for some, especially taller guests.

Rose cottage was almost perfect, but the busy road made parking an absolute nightmare, and lets not even get started on the fact that I didn't receive a welcome gift. Not sure what I am paying for here. I thought I would be treated a bit better, but I guess not. I just couldn't give a good review here.

well renovated spaces, warm welcome, charming character building
The quirky Australian taps were a bit confusing!!! Low beamed ceilings might not suit taller guests, and some thinking on how to manage the sloping floors would improve comfort!!!

Charming stay with warm hosts
We were welcomed by the charming Steve and Liz. The breakfast was a hit, especially the homemade elements! We also enjoyed the cozy lounge where we could unwind. The character of the building was good, filled with old-world charm like low beamed ceilings and stone flags on the floor.
The room did get a bit warm during the night, but a quick adjustment with the window kept us comfortable. We would have appreciated a suitcase stand for better convenience.
